There are a number of ways to support the Pinellas Trail!

Volunteer as a Trail Volunteer

If you want the opportunity to enjoy The Pinellas Trail and make a contribution of your time and your service, then please consider becoming one of our Trail Volunteers. Our Trail Volunteers are our "eyes and ears" on the Trail. They support our Pinellas County Park Rangers, usually in the neighborhood section of The Pinellas Trail. They have been one of many reasons that our Pinellas Trail has been such a success for so many years.

Trail Volunteers are "our ambassadors" assisting trail users and assisting with trail maintenance (when needed)! To learn more go to the Pinellas County Volunteer website. Trail Volunteers have the flexibility to plan their own schedules (with a minimum of 12 hours monthly). Many of our Trail Volunteers are seasonal residents and they look forward to returning here to Pinellas County for all the many special reasons that they enjoy, including being a Trail Volunteer!

Make a Financial Donation

You can support the Friends Of The Pinellas Trail (formerly Pinellas Trails, Inc.), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization by making a tax-deductible contribution. Your donation will be appreciated by trail users, supporters and the communities adjacent to the trail corridor! You can donate online via PayPal, or for larger donations please send a check to our mailing address.

There are two ways to donate:
Donate to the Amenity Fund
Amenity Fund: Make a cash donation to sponsor a bench, bicycle rack, litter receptacle, sheltered bench, sheltered table, or water fountain.
Donate to the Trail Volunteer Fund
Trail Volunteer Fund: Make a cash donation to the Trail Volunteer Fund. The Trail Volunteer Fund was created to support our Trail Volunteer program of volunteers who show their support to The Pinellas Trail by walking, jogging, biking and skating in designated sections throughout the trail project as "ambassadors", assisting trail users and assisting with trail maintenance.
All contributions can be "in honor of", "in memory of" or "on behalf of a family, individual, community organization and/or business".
